MAYHEM Frontman To Perform With SALEM In Israel

November 20, 2005

MAYHEM frontman Attila Csihar (formerly of TORMENTOR, ABORYM) will join Israeli extreme metal pioneers SALEM for a special one-off performance on December 27 at Theater Club in Tel Aviv, Israel. Also appearing with the band will be the female ICSQ string quartet.

SALEM's appearance at the Theater Club comes after a 16-month absence from the stage, during which time the band recorded and released the "Strings Attached" CD, which combines SALEM songs and dark classical music.

Tickets for the concert are available online through Metalist magazine's web site.

As previously reported, MAYHEM have set "Ordo Ab Chao" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in early 2006 via Season of Mist. The band's upcoming CD will mark their first release with vocalist Csihar since their 1993 album, "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas". Csihar joined MAYHEM in November 2004 as the replacement for departed singer Maniac (real name Sven Erik Kristiansen).
